Cameroon. Analysis to the Factors Constributing to the Consociational Failure - Roxana Mates
63.43 RON
Based on Roxana Mates’s doctoral dissertation, this book is a consistent scientific approach through which the doctoral student analyzes in depth the evolution, dynamics and perspectives of the ethno-linguistic conflict between the English-speaking minority and the French-speaking majority in Cameroon. The author integrates this conflict into the more general logic of the failure of consociationalism in sub-Saharan Africa.
The research conducted by Ms. Mates was undoubtedly facilitated by the internships undertaken at the Centre for African Studies of Babes-Bolyai University, which allowed her to benefit from a consistent bibliography, to probe multiple research avenues and to enter contact with leading specialists in the African political and societal phenomena.
